* Collection Instructions *

  • Separate cells within 6 hours by centrifugation at 2-8°C (2200-2500 RPM, 800-1000 g) for 5-10 minutes.
  • Transfer plasma to an amber polypropylene or polyethylene transport tube to protect from light.
  • Alternately, neutral color polypropylene or polyethylene tube can be used if wrapped in aluminum foil.
  • Freeze the tubes at -1- to -30°C.
  • Ship frozen.
