US Marine Corps Toys for Tots and the Salvation Army Food Drive campaigns

Senior Administrative Assistant Deb Reed shares a last look at items donated by Laboratory Alliance employees to support the US Marine Corps Toys for Tots and the Salvation Army Food Drive campaigns. The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys as Christmas gifts for needy children in our community and to inspire and give them hope for a brighter future. The Salvation Army exists to meet human need wherever, whenever and however they can. By giving locally, you ensure that the people in your community get the help they need. In addition to the toys pictured here, we collected over 400 pounds of food and are grateful for the generosity of our employees.

The second photo, taken 20 years ago in 2003, shows Materials Manager Dru Neis and a member of the Marine Corps at one of our earlier toy drives. Dru continues to coordinate our toy and food donation efforts every year — thank you, Dru!
