Icelyn Butler


Icelyn Butler is a natural leader and brings to Laboratory Alliance a diverse and extensive background in healthcare, industry and finance. Her strengths in laboratory leadership include strategic execution and relationship building. Most recently, Icelyn managed all aspects of laboratory operations, including staffing integration, digital transformation and instrument acquisition, at Medical University of South Carolina’s Florence Medical Center Division. Her previous titles include laboratory leader, process engineer, business system leader, core laboratory manager, hospital clinical performance specialist, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, laboratory administrative and clinical director and lab manager. Quality healthcare engineering and processes are her passion, and she’s dedicated to empowering others through education, self-modeled stewardship and coaching and mentoring high performers who will lead in the future.

Robin Clark

Vice President of Information Systems/Chief Information Officer

Robin joined Laboratory Alliance in 2020 as vice president of information systems/chief information officer. She is responsible for the technological direction of the company, including software, hardware, telecommunications, connectivity, and all associated projects. She oversees a team of professionals dedicated to maintaining strong communications systems and committed to effectively linking Laboratory Alliance to all our healthcare partners. Prior to joining Laboratory Alliance, Robin has been leading IT teams for 25 years, with most of those years serving the healthcare community. Robin holds a bachelor’s degree from SUNY Albany, and has many years of experience leading large strategic IT initiatives resulting in improved operational performance and customer satisfaction.

Jeffrey Coyne

Director of Sales and Support Services

As director of sales and support services, Jeff oversees processing, transportation, phlebotomy, training, customer service and reference testing. Employed by Laboratory Alliance since the company's inception in 1998, he was previously customer service coordinator for the company. He is a graduate of Onondaga Community College.

Mark Jordan, Ed.D., PHR

Director of Human Resources

As director of human resources, Mark brings more than 20 years of experience in laboratory science, and seven years of prior experience with Laboratory Alliance in various roles. Initially he served as research and development specialist, playing a critical role in bringing on new tests. He later transitioned into the human resources department in the role of education coordinator. In this capacity he assumed several responsibilities including recruiting, training and onboarding new employees, and was the primary liaison to Laboratory Alliance’s clinical education partners. 

Mark began his career as an analytical chemist supporting the pharmaceutical industry and then transitioned to a career in education, teaching regents and advanced placement chemistry to high school students. Discovering a new passion for social sciences, he earned his doctorate in education with a focus on change leadership for social justice. 

Mark earned a Doctor of Education in 2015 from Fielding Graduate University, Santa Barbara, Calif., and a bachelor of science in 2002 from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, Syracuse N.Y. He has his Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification.

Jodi Lippke, MT(ASCP)

Director of Laboratory Operations

Jodi returns to Laboratory Alliance as director of laboratory operations with more than 10 years of experience in clinical laboratory testing, leadership, and point-of-care supervision. Most recently she was manager of laboratory and pathology medicine services at the Syracuse VA Medical Center. She joined the staff at Laboratory Alliance’s Rapid Response Laboratory at Community General Hospital in 2011, and served as supervisor of Central Receiving at the Operations Center from 2013 until 2018.

Jodi earned her Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from the State University of New York Upstate Medical University, is certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists and is a member of the Central New York chapter of Clinical Laboratory Management Association.
