Rita has a long history with Laboratory Alliance. She first joined the company in 2011 as manager of its rapid response laboratory at Upstate University Hospital at Community General. In 2013 she was appointed director of the Operations Center, Laboratory Alliance’s main laboratory. In this role she was responsible for the oversight and management of clinical and anatomic pathology laboratory services in accordance with the accreditation authorities, physicians’ orders, policies, procedures, established standards and administrative policies.

Rita now serves as a liaison between the board of managers, medical directors and management. She returns to Laboratory Alliance after leading Quadrant Laboratories, LLC since March 2021 where she oversaw the establishment of community-based testing sites for COVID-19 across New York state.

She has played a key role in Central New York healthcare since beginning her career as a medical technologist in 1988. She has held laboratory and management positions with Community Hospital, St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center, LabCorp, Northern Syracuse OB/GYN Associates and North Medical Laboratory Services.

Rita earned her Master of Arts in Strategic Leadership and her Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Technology from St. Bonaventure University. She is certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists as a medical technologist. She serves as president and board member and is an active member of the Clinical Laboratory Management Association Central New York chapter and an associate member of American Society of Clinical Pathologists.

As director of sales and support services, Jeff oversees processing, transportation, phlebotomy, training, customer service and reference testing. Employed by Laboratory Alliance since the company's inception in 1998, he was previously customer service coordinator for the company. He is a graduate of Onondaga Community College.

Jodi returns to Laboratory Alliance as director of laboratory operations with more than 10 years of experience in clinical laboratory testing, leadership, and point-of-care supervision. Most recently she was manager of laboratory and pathology medicine services at the Syracuse VA Medical Center. She joined the staff at Laboratory Alliance’s Rapid Response Laboratory at Community General Hospital in 2011, and served as supervisor of Central Receiving at the Operations Center from 2013 until 2018.

Jodi earned her Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from the State University of New York Upstate Medical University, is certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists and is a member of the Central New York chapter of Clinical Laboratory Management Association.

Brian has oversight of all of Laboratory Alliance’s finances and direct supervision over materials management and purchasing, accounts payable, accounts receivable/revenue cycle and facilities.

Brian brings more than 15 years of finance experience in accounting, financial analysis and business management to the position. He holds a Master of Science in Accounting from Syracuse University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Jim brings more than 20 years’ experience in healthcare information technology, including, most recently at Laboratory Alliance where he was a programmer analyst. He has an extensive background in software and systems implementation, data analysis, .NET programming, database management, DevOps administration and network administration. Jim holds a Master of Science in Information Systems Management and has received multiple IT-related certifications throughout his career.
