Community service during April

In April, Laboratory Alliance donated hours of goodwill on behalf of our community. Thanks to everyone who participated in these events!

Clothing drive for the health career students at Syracuse City School District’s Henninger High School: Our employees donated professional clothing for the students to wear as they start the process of job or college interviews in the near future. We included notes of encouragement and tips for successful careers in most of the pieces of clothing.

Syracuse Heart Walk: Thank you to all who participated and contributed to the Heart Walk. We raised $880.80!

Earth Day:  Laboratory Alliance participated in OCRRA's Earth Day cleanup event by volunteering to clean up litter and helping to beautify our community. This event is our community's largest environmental effort and it has been recognized nationally. Pictured is our clean-up crew at Willow Bay at Onondaga Lake Park who collected over 300 lbs. of litter!

Denim for Dollars: $200 was collected for the Autism Society of America thanks to the donations of our generous staff. The Autism Society of America dedicates the month of April as Autism Acceptance Month, an annual campaign empowering everyone in the Autism community to live fully and creating a world where they are connected to the support they need, when they need it. Since 1965, the Autism Society of America has helped millions of individuals with autism, their families and support professionals through advocacy, education, services and support.
