Change in reference laboratory announced

We are pleased to announce that Laboratory Alliance has partnered with Quest Diagnostics for our reference laboratory testing. To ensure a seamless transition this change will be completed in two phases. The first phase will go into effect on Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2023 and the full transition will be completed first quarter of 2024.
Laboratory Alliance currently performs 98% of testing in-house and we feel the change in reference labs from ARUP to Quest Diagnostics will provide our patients and providers with a faster turn-around-time as Quest Diagnostics is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
There will be minimal changes with collection devices and our account representatives will be meeting with our clients that this will affect. If your practice is interfaced with Laboratory Alliance, any testing sent to Quest will result back into your EMR. Our website will indicate tests that we will forward to Quest Diagnostics.
