Transport

0.5 mL serum or plasma refrigerated. (Min: 0.3 mL)

Remarks Hemolysis may cause falsely elevated results. Allow specimen to clot completely at room temperature before centrifuging.
Stability After separation from cells: Ambient: 3 days; Refrigerated: 2 weeks; Frozen: 2 months
Unacceptable Conditions Hemolyzed samples.
