Re: Laboratory Alliance of Central New York Update
_____________________________________________________________________________
As a valued partner, I wanted to inform you that Crouse Health and St. Joseph’s Health – co-owners of Laboratory Alliance of Central New York (LACNY) – have mutually agreed that St. Joseph’s Health will be divesting its co-ownership interest, effective on or about January 15, 2024.
Crouse and St. Joseph’s Health have co-owned LACNY since 1998. With this move, Crouse becomes sole owner of LACNY, which provides more than 10 million tests annually throughout Central New York.
With this transaction, there will be no reduction or elimination of employment or services.
The demand for high-quality lab services in our community remains strong, and LACNY is committed to building on our partnership with you. This includes growing and expanding essential lab services and recruiting additional clinical staff to enhance services currently provided to our community.
Again, our focus will be on growth in order to continue to meet the ongoing challenges of an ever-changing healthcare environment. This includes Covid as well as opportunities around anticipated future economic growth in the region.
Moving forward, we will continue to provide the highest clinical quality and customer service you expect from us, just as we have been doing since 1998.
We greatly appreciate our partnership and look forward to continue working with you. If you have any questions regarding this update, please feel free to contact me at 315-882-7505.
