Hands-only CPR training class held Tuesday, July 16
Wednesday, July 17, 2024
Twenty-five staff members from Laboratory Alliance were focused on saving “Mannequin Annie” at Tuesday’s Hands-Only CPR training classes hosted by the American Heart Association. Immediate CPR can double or triple a person’s chance of survival, yet bystanders only perform CPR 46% of the time. With hands-only CPR it takes just two steps to save a life: 1. Call 9-1-1 and 2. Push hard and fast. Laboratory Alliance CEO Rita Romano is serving her second term on the American Heart Association’s Executive Leadership Team. The three sessions held at the Corporate Offices in Liverpool were led by American Heart Association’s Kim Allen, development director, and Denise McGraw, Go Red for Women director.
