Deepest Appreciation for Laboratory Professionals

Medical Laboratory Professionals Week from Sunday, April 19 to Saturday, April 25 is an annual celebration that provides the profession with a unique opportunity to increase public understanding of and appreciation for clinical laboratory personnel.
Laboratory Alliance traditionally recognizes its dedicated professionals with a Lab Week food day, appreciation gifts and a denim day, which raises money for a local non-profit. This year, the company recognizes its professionals but is postponing the celebration until physical distancing restrictions are eased.
"That in no way diminishes our deepest appreciation for our most valuable asset — our workforce," said CEO Anne Marie Mullin. "You are the hidden heroes of healthcare not just during this healthcare crisis but every day!"
The exceptional efforts of laboratory professionals, 24/7/365, are absolutely vital to monitoring and protecting public health and to promoting patient health.
Laboratory Alliance of CNY joins a collaborative committee with representatives from 17 national clinical laboratory organizations in recognizing our medical laboratory professionals. It is time to reflect on the importance of all who work in the medical laboratory industry.
