Transport	1 mL serum refrigerated. (Min: 0.5 mL) Separate serum from cells ASAP or within 2 hours of collection.
Remarks	Patient Preparation: Fasting specimens are recommended, but not required.
Stability	After separation from cells: Ambient: 24 hours; Refrigerated: 1 week; Frozen: 1 year (avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles)
Unacceptable Conditions	Plasma and severely lipemic or hemolyzed samples.
