One 6 mL plain red top tube. Also acceptable: lavender or pink top tubes.

Transport 1 mL serum or plasma at 2-8°C. (Min: 0.5 mL) Separate serum/plasma from cells within 2 hours of collection.
Remarks Do not order if Imipramine has been administered.
Stability Ambient: 5 days; Refrigerated: 2 weeks; Frozen: 6 months

Whole blood, separate tubes, light blue (citrate), or yellow (SPS or ACD Solution) top tubes.
